The last view hours in BS

After two years of Hockerill, studying, fun and community suffering has now come to an end. The exciting journey would end with a fabulous weekend in London/ Bishops Stortford.  The party started at the airport, as it does not happen very often that the family would meet up together. Grandmother, mother, god mother accompanied by the mother of happiness ;)

Dress: bought at No 9 in Alkmaar, shoes by Clegerie. Topped up with red lipstick by KOH.

The same evening, we were joined by the rest of the lovelies. After a drinkat Host’s Bar, we moved down to the restaurant and spent some hours gossiping, exchanging latest news and having some fine food.

The last time, I would jump inmy uniform on Saturday morning. The first time, it was not accompanied by the usual outcry, the outfit would be too plain and boring, not indivual enough. Well, this morning I was also luckily allowed to wear my mother’s pearls (by Stichnoth).

After a few canapés at school we went for lunch at the Lemon Tree in Bishops Stortford. Finest gourmet food and a round of happy faces! I had an omelett with Haddock and Chives. The majority of my guests chose the salmon, which looked most delicate as well. (However, I did have to watch my stomach, as the dress was meant to fit in  the evening.)

Luckily, so it did! The dress is by Stop Staring and the little micro bag (as my friend Constanze named it) by MiuMiu.

It was indeed a very long night and the perfect atmosphere to say good bye. Or: Ciao bis nie ;)

My hair was done in Bishops Stortford at a hair dresser named Brookes. I think it gave the dress and my look a very elegant look.

Henne perfectionating his styling for the big night.

St. Ursula. Thank you for the inevitable moments!

The outfit did not change for the next party in Germany. Luckily I was most kindly invited by Joana, a make up artist at Heathrow (Chanel, Duty free), to a personal make over, completely in Chanel. I felt like a princess for these 45 minutes, as she applied different Serums and make up bits and bops on my face, so that I would keep a fresh look. I think she managed very well!

The celebration party by my old school, St.Ursula, was so elegant and from the first until the last minute perfect. We danced, laughed and enjoyed ourselves, exactly how it was meant to be! The location was Wienecke Congress Centrum anfirstly and a private houe later on. I decided to keep the same outfit, as it is fairly comfy (apart from foot pain and the fact, the stomach had to be pulled in constantly hihi).

Danish Tradition: fynsk aeggekage

Back to the topic of food and culture, I was introduced by my host, Thomas, to a traditional Danish dish: Egg cake/ fynsk aeggekage. It is pretty much like an omelette, however, you would add a little bit of beer and the common toppings are bacon, chive and tomato, very recommendable (if you like beer).

Finally: The sneakers in my life and on Uniquepa

I know that promising and not sticking to what is said is rude. I apologize for not keeping up with Uniquepa, but too many amazing obstacles have hindered me from posting. So, let’s see when I stopped reviewing the best of the best moments. I think this was last week, when I said on my Facebook page I would post more about sneakers, to be more exact: New Balance 420’s. I do admire them truly. I have never been a great fan of sneakers, trainers, sportshoes in real life. However, Denmark is a place which changes people, I think. The inspirations I get from here are too extreme and incredible. Hitherto, I am now at the point of wanting to get those comfy Hipster shoes. Having tried them on a Danish shop in Kolding, I was overwhelmed, as I believe they cause a very advantegous leg shape. I am aware of the fact, that they have been en vogue for a long time, however, as their story already tells, the design is timeless. More about the background here, and do have a look at amazon, if you are interested in them. Unfortunately, I was not yet able to find the grey pair in my size. For me, grey is the best colour, as it fits to everything basically.

I am wearing a hat by Zara, Blazer by Miss Selfridge, Shoes by H&M, dress by Thomas Burberry.

I also dropped down some other trainers. For a sporty look they are inevitable and you can really mix some styles. Here, I am wearing leggings by Monki, a cashmere jumper, personalised Nike shoes and a bag by Celine (extremely light). `I was quite fortunate having put them on, as my bike got stolen in front of the cinema so that I would have had to run 4km back home. Quite adventurous.

Talking about sports I also have to congratulate the Bianco Footwear Soccerteam as they won a match last Monday. I do have some awesome colleagues here!

In town, on the same day, I stopped by the Bianco shop and was astonished by the interior design, which is mainly created by the marketing office I am working in at the moment (Big thank you for the introduction into this special field of fashion life to Line)
