I allowed myself to prepare the dinner for my hosts last night. As they have a really fine taste, I gave my very best. I am the kind of person, always wanting to try something new, so I made an onion soup on a white whine base. The recipe is attached below.
The best summer drink came with it: sparkling wine with a drop of elderberry juice, a mint leaf and ice.
As a side dish, I made grilled courgette but being honest, the load of pepper I used was somewhat too much...
Also, chopped carrots with a white wine dressing and a topping of oils and balsamico helped as a refreshment.
